Twenty-five years after he had to cool his heels behind the bars at the Punjagutta police station for circulating a pirated video cassette of an Amitabh Bachchan movie, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma may face the police heat once again. In 1986, he had circulated a pirated video cassette of Bachchan-starrer 'Aakri Rasta' in his video shop at Punjagutta and for that he was put behind bars for a night.   This time, he is likely to be questioned by the police investigating the murder of factionist Gangula Suryanarayana Reddy alias Maddelacheruvu Suri. Since the prime suspect in Suri’s murder case, Bhanu Kiran, had associated himself with RGV during the making of Rakta Charitra-1 and II, the filmmaker might have to answer questions that could throw more light on Bhanu and his operations. According to sources, producers C Kalyan and Singanamala Ramesh allegedly utilised the services of Bhanu in settling several financial disputes in Tollywood.
