The Last Roll of Kodachrome Film Ever Will Be Developed Today

The Last Roll of Kodachrome Film Ever Will Be Developed TodayEven if you don't give two f-stops about analog photography, it's always good to respect our elders. So today, we pour one out for Kodak legendarily beautiful Kodachrome film which after today in Parsons Kansas will never be processed again.
The Last Roll of Kodachrome Film Ever Will Be Developed Today
Kodachrome, which Kodak stopped manufacturing last year, has been prized by the world's most eminent photographers for its beauty and refinement—the way it captures light and color is unlike anything else, and has made possible some of photography's greatest visions.
The Last Roll of Kodachrome Film Ever Will Be Developed Today
But from a peak of 25 labs across the world, only one remains, in a small Kansas town. Dwayne's Photo, an unlikely photo lab in the relative middle of nowhere, has become a photographic Mecca, as film enthusiasts have rushed from around the world to ensure their stacked up analog rolls are processed before the lights go off. But today is the end of the line—Dwayne's Photo is simply dead out of the chemicals it takes to process the film, and there's nowhere else to get it.
Dwayne Steinle, owner of Dwayne's Photo, will have the honor of ending the 75 year run—the man with the last Kodachrome photo in history. The last snapshot? "A picture of all the employees standing in front of Dwayne's wearing shirts with the epitaph: "The best slide and movie film in history is now officially retired. Kodachrome: 1935-2010," reports the NYT.
Despite having the bejeezus knocked out of it by digital, the singular beauty of analog photography should never be forgotten—and thanks to groups like the 1,668 member strong Kodachrome Flickr pool, it probably won't be. I highly recommend browsing the collection. Even the most mundane shots—someone's grandma, a train station, the beach—show the warm charm of the film.
The Last Roll of Kodachrome Film Ever Will Be Developed Today
It's also funny (sad?) to think that in the not too distant future, we'll be reading similar news about the last roll of analog film, period

 Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji

Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Shruti Haasan and Omi Vaidya

CHANDNI BAR, SATTA, PAGE 3, CORPORATE and FASHION. Just some of the critically acclaimed and award winning films by Madhur Bhandarkar. Known more for his socially relevant hard-hitting films that take a dig at the high society it was but natural that there were not many memorable musical scores in them apart from a few, namely in PAGE 3 (Lata's "Kitne Ajeeb Rishte") and of course FASHION where Salim-Sulaiman did a commendable job. Its signature tune is still quite a favourite at many fashion shows.

However DIL TOH BACCHA HAI JI sees a different side of Bhandarkar. It's a light hearted romantic comedy, an all out commercial entertainer. And since the focus is on romance it's but natural that the intelligent director and the enterprising producer, Kumar Mangat , have entrusted Pritam , the king of melody with the responsibility of composing the music. Here he has the support of quite a few of his favourite lyricists like Sayeed Quadri, Neelesh Misra, Kumaar and Sanjay Chhel. Only Irshad Kamil seems to be missing! Naturally expectations abound from this album too, especially after the tumultuous success of Pritam-Ajay-Emraan's last venture, ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI . So let's plug in and get going!

Lovely blend of soft guitar strums, keyboard notes and soft whisperings greet the listeners to transport them into the dizzying world of spellbinding romance through the scintillating "Abhi Kuch Dino Se". The super hit singer-composer duo, Mohit Chauhan and Pritam, come up with another brilliant love ballad that would surely make everyone fall in love with it, such is the haunting effect of the easy to hum, light on the lips song. The superb display of harmonica, piano drills and chorus in the midst of the song too is delightful and coupled with Mohit's slightly inebriated style of 'bindaas' singing, makes the song class apart. Neelesh Misra the new gen lyricist displays his mastery with words that make his poetry so very appealing and simple to understand as well. "Tu bekhabar, Ya sab khabar, Ek din zara mere masoom dil par ghaur kar, Pardon mein main rakh loon tujhe, Ke dil tera aa na jaye kisi ghair par." An outright chartbuster and with music's lucky mascot Emraan Hashmi crooning his way into the hearts on screen definitely this song will stay at the top for quite a while.

The romantic mood set up by the first song continues to enthrall through the king of romantic numbers Sonu Nigam's 'Tere Bin". A gift to treasure for the hopelessly in love this song is an absolutely superb love ditty that is a notch higher than the first song (difficult to believe but Pritam is simply outdoing himself here!) due to the irresistibly mesmerizing rendition by Sonu. His hold over his vocals and the way he conquers the high and low notes with immense ease makes the song a delight to listen to, and not to mention his diction (talaffuz) which is impeccable, a problem with most other talented and promising singers . The background chorus, especially the female part is a bit jerky but the male portion covers up well. Lyricist Kumaar pens words that would be loved and appreciated by those that matter most, the youth; very simple and appropriate.

Then there is the second version, "Tere Bin" reprise sung by Naresh Iyer with minimal music in the background and he does well for himself as he has nice soft and refreshingly sweet vocals.

The remix version too is classy and the high tempo suits the song and the way Sonu has resung it will make the song more endearing to the target audience; the youth who love everything fast paced and racy.

Jazz and all out rock and roll sixties style welcome "Yeh Dil Hai Nakhrewala", and it has been rendered by a relatively new talent on the block Shefali Alvaris. Sung in the Geeta Dutt style, the song may be a bit of an anti climax as it would suit a male singer better but Shefali does a fine job of keeping the spirits high with her enthusiastic rendition. This retro style composition has one problem and that is: it just does not exude the kind of energy usually associated with such kind of songs, the music arrangement is lighter and the pace a tad gentler than desired. One must add that some might prefer the lazy tempo and find it infectious . Neelesh's lyrics are quite novel and suit the retro mood and setting of the song perfectly.

Antara Mitra's "Yeh Dil Hai Nakhrewala"(Film Version) is not much different, though the background music arrangements slightly differ, more guitars, trumpets and percussion instruments galore and from the title one can guess that this is the film version and will feature in the movie rather than Shefali's version.

The last two songs have been rendered by Kunal Ganjawala, and naturally with Pritam at the helm of affairs and Emraan Hashmi as one of the male leads (apart from Ajay Devgn), one does expect another chartbuster from the singer-composer duo. Although Kunal has become quite choosy and is not heard much but lately he has come out and delivered some good numbers. His dew fresh vocals and his voice modulations are always a treat to savour. "Jadugari" is one such number that does showcases Kunal's talent like never before. The highly infectious rhythm lingers on for quite sometimes and the soft musical arrangements, bordering just on guitars and drums, coupled with a soft lovely chorus highlight the romantic feel of the composition. Highly versatile Sanjay Chhel, who is now writing for quite a few films, jots down some nice wordings that project the feeling of love in quite a new manner.

The album rounds off with another love ballad, and this time it's a duet, "Beshuba" with Antara Mitra giving company to Kunal Ganjawala. A frothy and bubbly fast paced love song that has a nice beat which does not relax even in the 'antara'. All credit to the artists, both Kunal and Antara who sing so well in tandem as this is one song that required a good tuning between the singers. Antara's diction leaves a lot to be desired. The English portions too are well rendered and do not appear forced at all. In fact they succeed in enhancing the lovey dovey mood and the wordings are easy to understand as well. Sayeed Quadri's lyrics are like the icing on the cake and this song should appeal to all.

Summing up, the album is exactly what one expected from Pritam and his gang. Two chartbusters, "Abhi Kuch Dino Se" and "Tere Bin" are our picks. The only problem with the album is that it does not offer much variety unlike Pritam's last OUATIM. The songs are mostly soft romantic numbers (due to the subject of the film) that may not appeal to all, but for us die-hard romantics, this album is the perfect gift for the upcoming Valentine Day which is not very far way and by that time the music will indeed get popular as well.

Bhoot And Friends Movie Review

Rating - 2.5/5

It's Christmas and New Year time. Kids have holidays and there's merriment all around. There's a certain joy, a magic that fills people's hearts during this period. A perfect time to release kids film. Last week, we saw TOONPUR KA SUPERRHERO and this week it's BHOOT AND FRIENDS.

Don't get petrified with title BHOOT AND FRIENDS. Though it sounds like a horror film, it isn't. No doubt, Jackie Shroff plays a bhoot, but he's a benevolent bhoot. A couple of spunky kids are also a part of this kids adventure flick.

Raghav (Makrand Soni) has just passed with 52% marks in his school examinations, much to the dissatisfaction of his mother. Along with his friends, he goes to his granny's place at Saharanpur for his vacations. All's not well in Saharanpur as there are many ghost stories doing the rounds. After a few days, the kids accidentally meet a ghost (Jackie Shroff) and find themselves involved in a treasure hunt. But they aren't alone as a tarnished angrez also has his eyes fixed on the precious treasure.

Director Kittu Saluja builds up the narrative pretty well. Its intriguing quotient is high, keeping you involved in the proceedings. You want to get to the bottom of the story. But the graph dips slightly when the animated back story is revealed. The treasure hunt is an exhilarating ride. The climax is replete with engaging moments. It also delivers some important, non preachy messages to kids and even parents, to accept kids as they are.

The area in which the film falters is lack of humourous moments. They are in short supply and in a kids film you certainly expect more. Also, it's baffling to see how the goons on a jeep are not able to chase kids who are on cycles. The editing is passable with some continuity lapses. The few songs that are there are mediocre.

Jackie Shroff is impressive as the bhoot (he played one in BHOOT UNCLE). It's nice to see him in a good role after a long time. Ashwin Mushran is good as the bad guy. Maarkand Soni is excellent. Ishita Panchal is decent. Akash Nair is hilarious, Tejas Rahate acts really well.

BHOOT AND FRIENDS is a decent attempt replete with appealing moments. Go along with your kids on this treasure hunt, you won't regret it.

i want to Gate crash a Celeb do this New Year

Don't have plans for New Years yet? Worry not, we'll sort you out. If you have always fancied attending a page-3 soiree, simply gate-crash one.

Page three "dos" are ubiquitous - populated exclusively either by the TV types, the film frat, the arteratti, theatrewallahs or fashion folks, or a heady mix of one or more of the above. And yes, who can forget that smattering of random wannabe celebs.

So, without further ado about the do du jour, here's how to gatecrash one:

Dress wise
The more outrageous you look, the better. This is not to say you need to splurge at a fancy nose-in-the-air designer boutique. Au contraire!

Bring out those embellished/embroidered jeans that could pass off for "cool kitsch", slash a regular top (yup, a la Ed Hardy), slip into killer knee-high boots, throw on OTT accessories, get a wild hairdo (just muss up those tresses, if you must). Now, let's see who stops you from entering a high-profile do, and staying put.

Mind your language
Let the accent be on? A faux accent - whezer French, Austraalieen, 'Mexicaine or stiff upper lip Brit. Apart from worshipping gori chamdi, most desis are strangely in awe of foreign accents. But don't overdo it, lest you lose it midway and embarrass yourself.

Don't stuff your face
The finger food and booze is bound to abound. Tempted as you may be, it's unfashionable to eat more than a couple of morsels. Remember, the laws of demand and supply work in reverse order in these circles. And make sure you accompany each bite with an "Oh dear God! Damn diet… I'm feeling soooooo guilty".

Starstruck no-no

Before you go: "Aww, there's Amitabh Bachchan/Shah Rukh Khan/Priyanka Chopra!" hold it. Even an iota of awe could give the game away. Instead, contort your features into a practised pose that's a blend of bored disinterest and been-there-done-that nonchalance.

This Gold and Wood iPhone Case Goes Perfectly With Your Smoking JacketIf you want to dress your iPad up in the finest case money can buy, you needn't look much further than this: Gresso African Blackwood 18kg gold jacket. It smells distinctly of excess.
It's the same look and feel as Gresso's $3,000 iPhone 4 case, and while the iPad version doesn't have a price listed yet—it goes on sale tomorrow—one would imagine the cost is commensurate with the size increase.
This Gold and Wood iPhone Case Goes Perfectly With Your Smoking JacketThen again, for the right tasteful millionaire, it could make the iPad just the accent piece for a mahogany-lined billiard room

taking better photos with my smartphone,How to Make my Smartphone Photos Look Like They Were Taken with good Camera

While it always helps to start by taking better photos with your smartphone, should you end up with a subpar image you're not out of luck. Here's how to make it look like your photo came from a nicer camera.
In the video above we've got a regular photo of a DIY IKEA iPad stand from IKEA Hacker. The iPad stand isn't centered, the colors are a little dull, and—for multiple reasons—the iPad stand could be much more prominently featured. I figured I could make the photo look a bit nicer so I did, and this video takes a look at how to do that. The techniques described aren't just for iPads on tables, though. You can use them for pretty much any photo to quickly make them look like they came out of a better camera than, say, your smartphone's.
Each enhancement is pretty simple on its own, but there are quite a few of them that make up the process in the video above. They're much easier to learn by watching, so check out the video above if you want to see the whole process. So you know what you're in for, here's an overview of what the video covers:
  • Create a more shallow depth of field to make the subject of the photo pop.
  • Enhance the color of the photo with the gradient tool and blending modes.
  • Add a spotlight with the gradient tool.
  • Remove unwanted parts of the photo with the clone stamp, healing brush, or content-aware fill feature (new to Photoshop CS5).
Got any great enhancement tips of your own? Let's hear 'em in the comments.

Sameera is arriving with the film 'Erra Gulabeelu' which is directed by Gautham Menon and this also has the lovely smile beauty Samantha as the other leading lady. pakistan newzealand t20 cricket match, newzealand want to win all matches, we want all matches to win

ross taylor the stand-in New Zealand captain, has denied that his side were complacent in the final game of the three-match Twenty20 series against Pakistan in which they were routed by 103 runs, the largest winning margin in contests between Test nations. New Zealand had already sealed the series after winning the first two games comfortably.
"We wanted to win the series 3-0 after what's happened over the last few months," Taylor said, "and it's disappointing to put out a performance like that in front of a pretty good crowd."
Chasing 184, New Zealand were bowled out for 80 in 15.5 overs, and at one stage were 3 for 4 with their top four batsmen - Jesse Ryder, Martin Guptill, Dean Brownlie and Taylor - all dismissed for ducks. "It's a very disappointing way to end the series … when your four top batsmen get out for nothing it's pretty tough chasing a total."
Taylor credited Pakistan's bowlers for defending a target that he was confident his team would have been able to chase down. "The pitch changed a little bit but the way Abdul Razzaq and [Shahid] Afridi bowled was just outstanding," he said. Afridi, the Pakistan captain, had career-best figures of 4 for 14 in 2.5 overs, and became the first player to reach the milestone of 50 Twenty20 wickets. He extended the New Zealand slide that began when Razzaq picked up three wickets with the new ball, while conceding just 13 runs in his four overs.
Afridi said the win would come as boost to the Pakistan team that has struggled for consistency in recent times amid the spot-fixing allegations that have rocked the team. "This is the talent of Pakistan but we should be consistent," Afridi said. "We're trying to make a team combination before the World Cup (in February). I know we lost the series but this was a big win for us to keep our morale high."
The teams next play two Tests, the first of which begins on January 7. Taylor was hopeful that his team would be able to bounce back from what was a disappointing end to the Twenty20 series, after the initial optimism following John Wright's appointment as national coach and their victory in the first two games.
"The Test's not far away, and it's a bit disappointing to lose the momentum we had," he said. "But the Test series is something where we did quite well in India, and hopefully we can improve on that back here in New Zealand."

Satya Krishnan and now another one might join the list,Ranga The Donga Vimala Raman,

Strict warning to Vimala Raman!
It is often said that the first two or three films of an actress decides the future of her career and usually, the heroines gets labelled as glamorous, top league or performance driven. But then there are times when actresses make wrong moves and end up ruining their careers. We have seen that happening with the talented Satya Krishnan and now another one might join the list. She is none other than Vimala Raman and many cine observers say that she has tremendous potential to get to the big league but she has been going wrong with her choice of films. The latest to that is 'Ranga The Donga' where she hardly had anything to do. The cine pundits are now warning Vimala that if she doesn't focus on picking the right projects then it is 'pack up' for her soon.

Mirapakaya Deeksha Raviteja,Mirapakaya Raviteja Heroine,Mirapakaya Big Hero high energy levels exhausts Heroine

Big Hero's high energy levels 'exhausts' Heroine
The Tollywood circuit is one place where all the big heroes are more than 40 years of age and they still pair up with girls half their age. Right now, one man has become the topic of discussion for a young girl. She is the enchanting seductress Deeksha Seth and the man she is talking about is our very own mass raja Raviteja.
Apparently, Deeksha paired up with him in 'Mirapakaya' and it seems she was sharing her thoughts about Raviteja to her friends when she revealed that he was highly energetic in front of the camera. Sources also say that Deeksha was tired and exhausted unable to match up with the energy levels of Raviteja. Well, that is one reason why Ravi Teja's films are often a success with the audience.

David Beckham has further distanced himself from allegations he slept with a prostitute in 2007 by swearing under oath he has never even met her,Spice Girls star Victoria BeckhamBeckham Gets Tough With Nici Over Sex Story

David Beckham has further distanced himself from allegations he slept with a prostitute in 2007 by swearing under oath he has never even met her.
On Tuesday, Beckham filed a declaration in his $25 million (GBP16.6 million) lawsuit against hooker Irma Nici and the publishers of In Touch Weekly magazine, who ran her story earlier this year.
In his declaration, obtained by TMZ.com, the sporting hunk, who is married to former Spice Girls star Victoria Beckham, insists Nici "fabricated" the facts of her expose, and goes on to list them.
He denies, "that in August 2007, I committed adultery with Nici and another prostitute by paying for sex with the two of them," and "that about a month later, I again committed adultery with Nici at the Claridges Hotel in London."
He also states that Nici's claims she slept with him "five times in total" are "unequivocally false."
Beckham concludes, "I have never met Nici, let alone committed adultery or paid her for sex."

Tips to Kick Start Weight Loss in the New Year,Practice yoga,Weight Loss in the New Year,i want Weight Loss in the New Year,i want to get my weight less ,weight loss,

So you know you don’t need a weighing machine to tell you that you’ve gained several pounds in this ongoing holiday season. But before your lethargic self can actually get into the groove of the daily schedule – gymming & exercising- why not kick start the New Year with these easy weight loss tips? Check it out.

1. Keep moving each day: all it takes to see a weight-loss benefit is 30 to 60 minutes of aerobic activity daily.

"You don't need to be athletic. Just brisk walking or dancing to your favorite music or using an aerobic exercise machine like a stationary bike or treadmill is all you need to do - just try to do it each day," said Anne McTiernan.

"You can break it into 10- or 15-minute sessions throughout the day to get the weight-loss benefit," she said.

2. Keep a food journal: "By spending a little extra time to write down everything you eat and drink, you'll be able to see where extra calories sneak in," said Caitlin Mason, an exercise and health researcher in the Public Health Sciences Division of the Hutchinson Center.

"There are lots of good online tools that can help estimate the calorie content of common foods and track your weight loss progress over time," she said.

3. Set realistic goals: "For long-term success, aim for a slow, steady weight loss of about 1 to 2 pounds a week. No one wants to lose weight only to gain it all back - and often more - a few months later," said Mason.

4. Set specific goals: set several smaller but more specific goals, such as eating five servings of vegetables per day, taking a 15-minute walk at lunch each day or drinking six glasses of water per day.

"Adding healthy behaviors to your routine is often easier than telling yourself 'don't do this' or 'don't eat that,'" Mason said.

5. Don't let one slip-up derail your efforts: "Don't throw your entire routine out the window after one bad day. Instead, try to identify the specific barriers that got in your way and think through strategies to avoid such challenges in the future," said Mason.

6. Practice yoga: regular yoga practice and weight maintenance and weight loss are related, according to several studies.

Researcher Alan Kristal found that regular yoga practice is associated with the prevention of middle-age spread in normal-weight people and the promotion of weight loss in those who are overweight.

A follow-up study published in 2009 found that regular yoga practice is associated with mindful eating, and people who eat mindfully are less likely to be obese.

"These findings fit with our hypothesis that yoga increases mindfulness in eating and leads to less weight gain over time, independent of the physical activity aspect of yoga practice," Kristal said.

"Mindful eating is a skill that augments the usual approaches to weight loss, such as dieting, counting calories and limiting portion sizes. Adding yoga practice to a standard weight-loss program may make it more effective."

brad Haddin say Michael Clarke to captain,Michael Clarke to captain australia, australia ashes cricket Michael Clarke to captain

Haddin

spent his first full day as Australia's vice-captain insisting Michael Clarke, his new master, is the right man for the top job. A new cricket leader is usually a time for celebration in this country, but Clarke's appointment for Monday's fifth Ashes Test at the SCG has been greeted with extreme caution.
Ricky Ponting is missing the match due to a broken finger and Clarke enters the fixture in poor form and with only pockets of public support. None of that matters to Haddin, who says the team is 100% behind the leader.
"He is ready to do this job," Haddin said at the SCG. "He'd be excited about the prospect of captaining Australia and he will do a very, very good job. We're 100% behind him and, being a good mate of mine, I'll support him in any way I can. He deserves to be in this position ... he's the best man for the job."
Haddin, 33, said the public reaction to all the Australian players changed from week to week. However, Clarke's rating among large sections of the community, particularly in his home state of New South Wales, has been more consistent. His lack of runs in the series - 148 in eight innings - hasn't helped endear Clarke to the detractors and the lukewarm response adds to the pressure on the country's 43rd Test captain.
"You are one good innings away, or sometimes one good cover drive away, from the support being with you," Haddin said. "Michael is a very strong character so things will be okay. He has got a very good cricket brain and you saw that through the T20 World Cup [when Australia made the final]. He thinks a lot about the game, he is going to do a very good job."
Haddin, who hopes his elevation is temporary, has played 31 Tests since replacing the retired Adam Gilchrist in the middle of 2008. He has leadership experience with New South Wales and gets a close-up view of the game as wicketkeeper. It will be interesting to watch how he juggles his post as one of the team's verbal enforcers with his new responsibilities.
The first aim for Australia is to show some signs of collective improvement after being thoroughly out-played in three of the four matches. The hosts are upset to have failed in their push to regather the urn - Haddin said the results were "unacceptable" - but they will aim to take comfort in a victory in Sydney.
"It's disappointing we have lost the Ashes and we are disappointed in our own performance, but you have to move on pretty quick in sport," he said. "We have to win this Test match to make this series 2-all."

Akshay Kumar is also the lead actor of his son Rohit film,At Anil Kapoor party David Dhawan bitched out tees maar khan,Akshay Kumar David Dhawan

At Anil Kapoor party David Dhawan bitched out TMK. Akki called him up and gave him a piece of his mind. Incidentally David's son is acting with him.

Anil Kapoor will not forget his birthday party for many years to come.

While there was a hiccup with Salman Khan and a fan getting slapped below his residence, inside there was an occasion to celebrate with Javed Akhtar and Salim Khan bonding warmly after ages.

However the after-affects of the party are still being felt. Apparently David Dhawan made some uncharitable comments about Akshay Kumar's recently released film Tees Maar Khan and Akshay got wind of the news. But a livid phone call by Akshay did make David apologise.

Our source tells us, "David Dhawan entered the party with his two thumbs down saying 'Tees Maar Khan pit gayee'. He announced that the reports of the film were not encouraging and that it was a bad film.

The film, which was to be released the next day, was said to be one of the hottest films of this year and the news that the film is not up to the mark has already spread since there were many trials of the film.

However one of the guests at the party told him that he should not say these things considering that Akshay Kumar is also the lead actor of his son Rohit's film, Desi Boys.

Akshay Kumar got wind of all these facts and he called David to give him a piece of his mind. David agreed that he had said all this and quietly apologised to Akshay."

The source further said, "David is a fun guy and he likes to gossip. There was nothing wrong in it as he said it in good humour. No one gets offended by his comments as he does not mean ill. He has a heart of gold and although he makes fun of people and films, he does not mean it."

When contacted, David Dhawan denied the news and said, "Why would I do that? Akshay is the hero of my son Rohit's film. Why would I demean him? I am very close to him and would never run down his film. I am a father and involved with my son's career."

Shah Rukh Khan

This year, SRK has managed to get together most of B’town celebs for his party in Dubai. King Khan of Bollywood is said to be throwing a bash at his bungalow in The Pal Jumeriah in Dubai with his family. Among attendees other than best friend Karan Johar will be Hrithik Roshan with wife Suzzane, Zayad Khan with wife Maleika and others.

However, Sallu will need to cut short his vacation and head back to shoot for Big Boss 4 on December 31st. (After all no one opposes what Big Boss decides)

Sanjay Dutt
While most from tinsel town are partying out, few of them choose to stay in aamchi Mumbai and Sanjay Dutt is one of them. He will bring in the New Year with Maanyata, the new born twins and sister Priya Dutt at the latter’s house. Guess its time to end sibling rivalry.

Skype iPhone video calls could eat ATandT data plan in under an hour

Skype’s new video call functionality in the updated iPhone app works, but it could have a significant impact on your data usage every month. Unlike Apple’s own Face Time video calling, which only works over WiFi connections, the new Skype for iPhone video calls can be made over a 3G connection. However, 9 to 5 Mac found that those cellular video calls churn through a whopping 3.4MB of 3G data per minute.

Over the course of a one minute video call, the iPhone 4 sent 1.3MB and received 2.1MB of data. That means iPhone 4 subscribers on AT&T’s 200MB data plan could make less than an hour of Skype video calls per month over their 3G connection before burning through their allowance. It remains to be seen how well the AT&T network will cope with what’s likely to be considerable extra load as Skype users get to grips with the new software

man are not intrested in me Katrina Kaif,Katrina Kaif likes man,man which is very good for Katrina Kaif,Katrina Kaif man and her likes, like of Katrina Kaif,Katrina Kaif and her personal life

Katrina Kaif, in a nonfilmi interview, speaks her heart out about her growing up years, how boys didn’t find her interesting at all when she was a teenager, what it means to be glamourous and attractive now, and a recognisable face, what security means to her, the state of transition she is in now, how and why she leaves her Life in God’s hands... and how an actress’ whole month can be decided in a half-hour meeting with her manager.

You keep getting these ‘Hottest’, ‘Sexiest’ awards and now do hot item numbers, too, while asserting that you’re the frumpiest among your sisters...
On screen, obviously, I do work to look glamorous, that is my job. But I don’t go to bed like that. I see some women walking in for a dinner with coordinated watches, handbags, shoes, and they’re stunning... and I’m like, how do they do that because if I have to go out like this, my outfit would be probably all of five thousand rupees. I’m not one of those naturally stylish people. I’m basic and I don’t honestly believe that all that adds to your attraction. And the other reason why it will never be part of me is because while growing up, I never felt attractive at all. I never got any attention in school. I don’t know why. I came here when I was 18, so before that... 17, 16, 15... the normal years when girls in college are having fun, not that I was trying to be a goody-goody girl, boys were just not interested in me. I was not that popular or beautiful a girl. So those basic feelings are too deeprooted in me.

You speak about how you think because of your growing up experiences, but don’t speak about what your growing up was like...
It’s because my growing up was too complex! It’d take 10 articles and probably a book to discuss that. It’s just that our family has one of the most interesting lives, due to the one simple fact that my mother, at a very young age, decided that she wanted to dedicate her life to social causes. And the organizations she worked with are in countries that are currently in what you would call... a state of dire need. So our transitions in growing up were from Hong Kong where I was born, to China, then to Japan, and from Japan by boat to France. That’s one of the few clear memories I have as a child because on that boat ride, everyone was sick except me.

After France, Switzerland and I’m cutting out many East European countries where we were for only a few months each. Then Poland. Since I’ve seen so many huge drastic things, my mind has become a little bit like, there are sections, and I rarely tap into those sections because there is too much information to comprehend. After that we went to Belgium, then to Hawaii, which was a short time, and then came to London, and then we were there for about three years. But because my mother is originally from Bath, which is in the UK, people always have this thing that I grew up in London.

In Poland, at eight, you would have hardly dreamt that at 18 you would be shooting for a movie in Mumbai...See, this is what I mean. If I am now going to sit and think about this, too many things will come flooding into my head, and you can be overwhelmed by that. So I try not to analyse it too much. On a generic level, I am very very grateful for all that I have achieved. From where I come, not growing up in any kind of luxury, or a life with much security. I wanted to have security for myself, for our whole family, and these were the things I wanted to get, and I have. Life has patterns, I’ve noticed. There will be phases of extreme happiness, there will be months of extreme work and they’ll just go by without you even realizing that you worked 12 hours every day, and there will be phases when your mind will be just be coping.

What state are you in right now...?
Now I’m in a kind of a funny, mixed phase. I’ve come to terms with a few things. And those things are that I don’t have the answers right now to a lot of things in my life. For most of this year I’ve been struggling and asking myself, how can I be this person who doesn’t have the answers.
But I have that much trust in God. I do believe that there is the hand that is guiding me and protecting me, for lack of a better word. I am able to see how the last five years in this industry have been. In the midst of all my turmoil and the battling with myself and the stress, I find a little time to sit back and say, even if it’s not all there tomorrow, I did see something pretty amazing.

A lot of actresses give those I don’t have time for a personal life, I am only focusing on work for the next few years type of quotes over and over again
. How real is that...?I think 80% of the people who are saying that, for them it’s true. It happens without you noticing. You sit down with a calendar and this is how it goes... this date has to be given to this brand, that date has to be given to that brand, these 20 days have to be given to this film. And then there are these three shows, and these shows represent an enormous amount of money, and as we don’t do films that we don’t believe in for the sake of money, we also need to secure ourselves financially, so these shows are important. And so you have this half an hour meeting with your manager, and you have no days off. It’s as simple as that! That month, in that half an hour meeting, is gone.

There will be enough people saying that you can balance your personal life while doing all this, and I suppose you can, but it takes a very strong connection between two people and a very strong determination to make it work.

Is it all work and drudgery, then...?
It took me a few years to start enjoying my work. I’d thought I’d achieved everything I could in modeling. Then I turned to films, as a challenge. I had no knowledge, no burning ambition that I have to become this successful actress. Not that I could not see myself succeeding, but something like this where I am today was just not on my horizon. I was like I don’t know anything about filmmaking. I had to learn everything step by step. Now there’s nothing I don’t understand. It’s now that I’ve started to enjoy my work, to love the art of what I’m doing, rather than just being up at 7 o’clock, at the sets with my makeup and a nice costume.

Sumanth, the fruitless hero from the Akkineni family is trying his level best to secure a spot in the tinsel town. The divorced hero is coming up with two back-to-back films in the coming New Year. January is the time, where most of the students concentrate much on their academics to secure a decent score in March exams. At this point, of time, it is not advisable to teach the magnitude of sports in education, as that may create a negative impact on some weak students. All this statements were based on a tea time discussion at Film Federation between big shot producers. Film Nagar folks are saying that if cinema has really such an impact on our society, we would have been 10 times forward than USA by now. Wait until Pongal, to see the effects of 'Golconda High School' on Telugu film bluffs.
