There is an old proverb, 'Do not put all your eggs in one basket', which in these times appears quite outdated because we have had several examples where courageous, ambitious and enterprising people from all walks of life have chosen to do so and have come out triumphant, battling all odds and taking immense risks! But as they say, fortune favours the brave and indeed in showbiz it takes a brave man to go against his image and do something that has never been attempted before.
As can be guessed from our headlines we are indeed talking about, Bollywood's global super star, Shahrukh Khan, who contrary to his safe as a house romantic image is now producing and working in an ambitious sci-fi SFX laden super hero film, RA.ONE. As we all know the film is being directed by techwiz Anubhav Sinha of DUS fame and is one the most lavish, hugely mounted, big star cast film, featuring Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal in never before roles. SRK being the producer admits that he has thrown everything in making RA.ONE a memorable film, for which he expects to be remembered in the years to come and also applauded for attempting something as daring and as novel.
Shah Rukh confesses that he is definitely taking a chance, a risk, as he has put in a whole lot of money, time, energy and also his creativity in RA.ONE and hopes that the risk would pay off with people accepting his new and bold step with open arms and making the film a big success.
Well, we are sure that the audience which is slowly and surely maturing would definitely give a thumbs up to RA.ONE, and seeing the way the film is shaping up we are quite sure of being on dot!
