Director of BHEJA FRY, Sagar Ballary is all set with his next film, KACCHA LIMBOO. The film, produced by Sahara Motion Pictures, is for both adults and kids. It's a film which bridges the generation gap between them. The film is scheduled to release on Feb 11.

Films for children only address fantastical ideas or comical situations in order to entertain but KACCHA LIMBOO is an entertainer which addresses issues pertaining to adolescent children who have just entered their teens. KACCHA LIMBOO is a chapter in the syllabus of parenting and childhood which no one should miss.

Sagar Ballary wanted to start his career by making a children's' film. KACCHA LIMBOO script was ready even before BHEJA FRY was conceived. He always wanted to make meaningful cinema for children and parents. KACCHA LIMBOO is a series of true stories experienced by various children including him and all has been encapsulated within the story of Shambhu who plays a lead protagonist a thirteen year old boy who was always misunderstood by his parents, friends and teachers.

Sagar states working with Atul and Sarika was a dream come true because both of them are National Award winners and a subject like this required fine sensitive actors who understood the subtlety of the subject.

'This is my second film with Sarika and I have learnt so much from her. Her vast amount of experience only helped me to understand dealing with actors better and arriving at the character of the mother with a wholesomeness which couldn't have been attained without Sarika's inputs. Atul rang the bell unexpectedly one day and walked into my office just to meet me. When I saw his shaved look minus the moustache I knew I had found Abhay Srivastav, Shambhu's father in the film. Working with Atul was again a different experience because Atul is very grounded, gathered and precise as opposed to me,' states Sagar, who keeps things a little fluid and uncertain.

The blend of his structured thinking and the subject's fluidity has resulted in something special that is KACCHA LIMBOO. |
