The HTC Scribe tablet is tipped to be a 7 inch slate running Android Honeycomb according to the latest Taipei leaks though it’s not expected to be launched at CES 2011 this week. Instead, DigiTimes reports, the Scribe will make its debut at Mobile World Congress in February 2011.

HTC’s Android tablet ambitions have been frequently rumored over the past 6-12 months, though it’s only within the past week that trademarks for the “Scribe” name have emerged and potentially tipped the company’s branding. Hardware details for the tablet are unknown, though the name does suggest handwriting recognition or some other stylus-based input.
