am i ready for motherhood, am i a good mother, mother good mother mother full time mom Ready to Turn Full-Time Mom

Controversial pop singer Britney Spears claims she'd love to quit the show business one day to turn into a full-time, hands-on mother to her two kids, Sean Preston and Jayden James. Now whether she's having an "Oops! I did it again" moment or not, here's how to tell if you're ready to quit the corporate rat-race for home and hearth.

1. You've managed to take that rare vacation with your gal pals, leaving your little one(s) with your hubby. You can't help but think about:

a. Your kids — would they be driving your hubby nuts or vice-versa?
b. Your carefree younger years, when you hand neither career nor familial responsibilities.
c. Your work agenda, once you get back.

2. Do you think about home when you're at work and about work when you're at home?

a. Only the former.
b. All the time!
c. Only the latter.

3. Your current work mantra:

a. I've slogged my a** off long enough; it's time for a sabbatical to focus on my kids!
b. Ive slogged my a** off long enough; it's time for a sabbatical to focus on I, me, myself!
c. I've slogged my a** off long enough; but I love it and am gonna keep at it.

4. According to you, maids are:

a. Really unnecessary and unquestionably inefficient, for the most part. I don't mind doing the household chores, and I'll obviously do a better job.
b. Super useful, though they finish off time-consuming chores in no time!
c. A Godsend. Don't know what I'd do without them.

Mostly As: You're full-time mom material, or ready to morph into one at least. The good news is that you know what you'll be getting yourself into. Go on, take the plunge.

Mostly Bs: You're probably contemplating motherhood or have just discovered that you're pregnant. You're super attached to your career and can't even think about quitting at the moment.

Mostly Cs: You're either super at the balancing act or a volcano waiting to explode. As long as you're bringing up the kids in a way that makes you happy, good for you.
