Women are not traditionally whisky drinkers. But maybe they'll give the new Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey whisky a shot (no pun intended).

Ostensibly to woo women drinkers, the whisky producer has come up with a smoother, slightly sweeter version of the famous Jack Daniel's Old No 7 whisky. And giving the Tennessee Honey whisky its sweetness is a proprietary honey liqueur. With a sweet and spicy nose, the Tennessee Honey whisky has solid cinnamon notes accompanied by butterscotch and  pear and honey. The whisky comes with a floral undertone.

Mixologists at Jack Daniel's suggest the whisky can be added to drinks like lemonade, ginger ale or iced tea.

Available worldwide; price: $22 (approx Rs. 1,000) for a 750 ml bottle.
