Much inspired by methods invented and experimented by maverick architect Micheal Reynolds famous for building "Earthships" - one of Bollywood's finest actors Abhay Deol plans on building an environmentally friendly home keeping true to his responsibility as ambassador of the Climate Project, India founded by former Vice President of the United States of America and maker of the path breaking Inconvenient Truth - Al Gore.

The star has already bought one acre of land in North Goa to build his eco-friendly dream house, construction of which begins in a month's time.

If sources are to be believed the contemporary house designed by architect couple Vishakha and Muninder Chowdhry that will reflect Deol's personality will accommodate 4 bedrooms, a master bedroom, a living room, an open kitchen and a dining room along with a 22-seater private screening room.

Reveals Muninder "Abhay wants a house that incorporates environmentally sustainable design. The construction will conform to LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) platinum standards in its development".

LEED is the internationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high-performance green buildings.
