It is not an easy job for any heroine to retain the top slot continuously. Anushka hanged on as the top heroine of South film orbit for a good length of time. The rush of new heroines from Mumbai, Kolkata, New Delhi, Punjab and other cities of North India made the position of Anushka insecure and the drift already begun. In the first instance Kajal broke into Anushka den with Pawan Kalyan Gabbar Singh and second was the replacement Kajal done for Krishnam Vamsi Gopichand Mogudu. Industry folks strongly predicted on Kajal Agarwal devising a sketch to overtake Anushka and now the third stroke is a big blow. Kajal ran away with the Bollywood offer of director Rohit Shetty and hero Ajay Devgan for remake of Tamil film Singam where in Anushka oozed the oomph for Suriya. Rohit Shetty was earlier dreaming about Anushka in the Hindi version also but once he had a glimpse of Kajal changed the mind. The nasty third stroke and Anushka is sensing the pain.
