Catherine Zeta-Jones had a brush with royalty on Thursday.
The actress was honored by Prince Charles, who made her a Commander of the British Empire (CBE), at Buckingham Palace in London. The Oscar winner was recognized for her film and charity work.

The 41-year-old actress was accompanied by husband Michael Douglas, daughter Carys, 7, and son Dylan, 10.
Looking like fashion royalty, Catherine sported a glamorous taupe jacket and skirt with a stunning matching hat.

According to the BBC, when the award was announced last summer, the actress said she was "absolutely thrilled."
"As a British subject I feel incredibly proud. At the same time it is overwhelming and humbling," the "Chicago" star said in a statement at the time.
