Bollywood Best Con Movies

Bollywood Best Con Movies

Who doesn’t like con artists? Especially when they look like Shahid Kapoor or Abhay Deol! With Akshay Kumar’s Tees Maar Khan releasing soon we decided to bring you a list of recent con movies that enthralled us with their witty scripts and wicked stars! Check it out.

Badmaash Company
:
Would you believe that director Parmeet Sethi wrote the script in six days flat? Well, we don’t know if he wanted to sell (read: con) the audience with that astonishing trivia but the audience did buy him. The story about how Shahid Kapoor and his gang set up a million dollar company by swindling unsuspecting people is simply amazing.

Bluffmaster:
You probably know someone like Roy Kapoor (Abhishek Bachchan) in real life too, who simply doesn’t want nine to five stiff-collared jobs. All he wants to do is make quick money even if that means compromising on some values and breaking a few rules. Rohan Sippy’s fast-paced con caper was absolutely entertaining.

Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye

Lucky (Abhay Deol) is a con artist who would fleece people for anything and everything, from TV sets, sofas, ACs, clothes, cars and even greeting cards! Now that’s one hell of a con, right? Especially if he was not driven to crime because of being downtrodden or poor; he just did for kicks!

Bunty Aur Babli
Who would have thought that Abhishek Bachchan could pull off yet another con film with equal panache? Well he did, and all thanks to Rani Mukerji with whom he shared phenomenal chemistry. The story about how Rakesh and Vimmi became Bunty and Babli and their alter egos went on to pull fast-capers on clever and gullible people alike, made the movie one of the best Bollywood con movies that was released in recent years.

Khosla Ka Ghosla
This Dibakar Banerjee’s film may not be an out-and-out con movie but the way the movie has been made makes it to our list! The story revolves around a middle-class man Kamal Kishore Khosla (Anupam Kher) whose plot gets captured by a land shark Khurana (Boman Irani). Now, how Khosla’s family hatches a plan to con the original con (Khurana) out of that plot is something you will have to find out. Kudos to the sheer brilliance of the script!
