The cat is out of the bag. Though the makers of JOKER have been tight lipped about the theme, content and presentation of their Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha starrer, a month long shooting schedule of the film in Chandigarh has let out quite a few secrets. One of these is the fact that the film actually has huge elements of fantasy to it and unlike a hardcore comedy which it has otherwise being perceived as, JOKER actually has lot more to it than what the film's title may suggest.

"One look at the sets of the film and you get an idea that JOKER is indeed telling a story which is out of the world", says a source who managed to sneak into the film's sets and was eager to share his experience, "You have to see it to believe it. Words just can't describe the sheer scale, colours, styling and a characterization of it's own that I evidenced in the sets of JOKER.

When contacted, Shirish (who did give a glimpse of an imaginary world in his last release JAAN-E-MANN as well) said in a hesitant tone, "All I can say is that JOKER is in a genre which has never been attempted in India before. Samir Chanda is the production designer for the film. He is known for his realistic sets in films like DELHI 6, GURU, RANG DE BASANTI, DIL SE etc. He took up JOKER as a challenge and for the first time worked on some stylised sets."

Hope the content of JOKER matches all the style as well and the fantastical world being created indeed lives up the hype.
