Celebrations are on cards for Balaji Motion Pictures and ALT Entertainment who have emerged the leading production and distribution house for the year 2010.

ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI and LOVE SEX AUR DHOKHA were clearly favorites this award season as they walked out with the maximum nominations - a whopping 19 Apsara Award Nominations and 14 Zee Cine Award Nominations.

Balaji co-produced and distributed India's premiere digital film LOVE, SEX AUR DHOKHA that emerged as a sleeper hit receiving critical and commercial acclaim from a worldwide audience. The company continued the LSD success story with its second production, ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI, which broke ground at the worldwide box office.

Says a source, "Balaji has always associated with and produced quality films that appeal to a varied audience. LSD explored the human emotions of love, sex & betrayal through very candid points of view and the film was shot in a novel manner. OUATIM was a slick and entertaining re-living of the iconic Mumbai underworld. Both films were critically acclaimed and were commercial successes."

The company's next project RAGINI MMS stands well in line to the production house's "tell it as it is" manner of film-making.
