  Hayley Atwell will reunite with Charlotte Rampling on the big screen after Atwell signed for I, Anna, the debut feature for writer-director Barnaby Southcombe.
Atwell and Rampling shot The Duchess together with Keira Knightley and Ralph Fiennes.
Atwell joins I, Annaas Emmy, daughter of Charlotte Rampling's eponymous character, Anna.
Billed as a London-set suspense thriller, Southcombe’s movie charts the story of a woman’s life being turned upside down after a date gone wrong, and the impossible love of the policeman tracking her down. The supporting cast includes Eddie Marsan, Jodhi May, Bill Milner and Honor Blackman.
The project shot on locations in and around London, and one week in a studio in Hamburg.
Southcombe's script is based on the novel of the same name by Elsa Lewin.
It is produced by Felix Vossen and Christopher Simon, Michael Eckelt and Ilann Girard. Co-producer of the UK/Germany/France production is Jo Burn.
Embargo Films banner produced with support from Filmforderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein (FFHSH) and the German Federal Film Fund (DFFF).
Artificial Eye will release in the U.K., NFP/Warner Brothers in Germany and ABC/Cinemien in Benelux.
