actor Amitabh Bachchan plays a professor in 'Aarakshan', a film directed by Prakash Jha. For this, Jha didn't want to hire actors to play students; he wished that students play students.

So he scouted for about a thousand students from all over Madhya Pradesh to do the job. They went through a one-month acting workshop.

What did Jha get out of this? Well he got a classroom of students who understood the camera, its angles and what exactly was required of them. The workshop, we hear, was so useful that some of them are as good as professional actors. And in all probability, Jha may even get them down to Bollywood and help them pursue a dream, they may have never dreamt.
