At the premiere of Madagascar 3 Mallika Sherawat decided to go the 70s way. Sherawat showed off her back in a nude-coloured gown designed by Paris based designer, Ali Mahdavi. The plunging backless gown had a high neckline but an ultra deep back. The dress was held together by nothing but a string. To carry off this bold look, Mallika donned winged eyeliner, a bouffant hairdo and a pair of classic diamond earrings.
For the 2012 Amfar’s Cinema against AIDS event at Cannes, the Hiss actress, continuing to favour a certain colour palette, wore a cream-coloured gown with a hood designed by Ali Mahdavi. The hood and the overall gown ended up looking a bit off. However the hair and the make up really work we think.
