Inside The World's First Deep Sea Bar This Bar Is Deep Down In the Baltic Sea

this bar is deep down in the baltic sea
Looks like adventure (and alcohol) buffs have many new options to choose from, to have a good time. First, there's the option of sipping a drink in outer space, now you can do the same deep down in the Baltic Sea.

So what made someone come up with something so cool? As part beer giant Guinness' 250-year anniversary celebrations, London-based designer Jump Studios was commissioned to tweak a submarine into a cool deep sea bar.

We hear that Jump Studios worked with carpenter and engineer Nicholas Alexander, who followed strict marine construction guidelines. Before constructing the pre-fabricated interior shell in Alexander's London studio, the team took measurements of the submarine in Sweden's Stockholm Archipelago. All the components were assembled in sub-zero temperatures before the entire bar was sunk to the bottom of the Baltic Sea.

The interior of the bar is made using a glass-reinforced plastic material covered in rubber discs. It's a cool way to make the bar seem alive with bubbles. Some of the discs are inlaid with LED lights while others are to hold beverages.

With only 11 sqm of interior space, it features seating, tables and a bar. And done worry, strict attention was paid to fire safety and ventilation.
