What's common between Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta and Puja Gupta, the newest entrant in Bollywood who would be making her debut with F.A.L.T.U.? Well, each of the three leading ladies has a beauty pageant background. While Lara and Priyanka were crowned as Miss India Universe and Miss India World respectively, a few years down the line even Puja has been graced with the Miss India Universe crown. However when it comes to on-screen persona, Puja is taking a route different from that of Priyanka and Lara, both of whom had gone with a holds-no-bar approach when it came to skin show for their first ever exposure to Bollywood as a leading lady - ANDAAZ. "Well, they were good in what they did but I would want to groom myself further before taking that step", smiles Puja who admits that she wants to steer clear of over exposure so early in her career, "I would rather want people to see me growing." She goes on to rattle down a few examples of those top leading ladies who were restrained in their earlier outings and only started showing a glamorous side of their persona in their later outings. "Look at women like Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor or much before them, Juhi Chawla. They took their time before opening up", reasons Puja, "I too would rather go slowly and wait for the right time and opportunity. Of course I would love to be that glamorous hot girl for the masses but when that has to happen, it would happen."
