Actress Freida Pinto loves to embark on shoe-shopping expeditions during trips to Britain and the U.S. - because her feet are too big for traditional footwear in her native India.
The Slumdog Millionaire star is a fan of sexy high heels and trendy pumps but struggles find shoes that fit her from stores near her home in Mumbai.
So she makes it her main priority to stock up on footwear from designer stores whenever she heads to Europe or the U.S.
Pinto tells Britain's You magazine, "I have unusually big feet for India - 41, which is a size 10 in America and a size seven in the U.K. - so I just go crazy when I come here or to the U.S.
"I buy three pairs for me, three pairs for my sister, three pairs for mum. Sometimes I just look at them, I don't even get to wear them, which is so sad."
