Story:

Mangala (charmy) is a noted heroine and has lot of fans. One among them is a crazy fan (Vijay sai) and his father (pradeep rawath) is a powerful black magician. The story takes a turn when the fan comes to meet Mangala and an incident occurs wherein Mangala misunderstands the fan has misbehaved with her. He gets bashed properly and this upsets him which leads to him attempting suicide. While in hospital, he wants to see Mangala and though the fan’s father keeps asking for Mangala to come and visit his son, she is unable to make it due to her shootings and takes the matter lightly. The fan dies and the black magician wreaks revenge on Mangala. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Artist performances:

Charmy has come up with a soul stirring performance and she has provided the right dose of talent and glamour to her role. Pradeep Rawath was awesome in his look and performance, he was scary. Subhash was effective and contributed well. Vijay Sai was brief. Uttej and Saptagiri brought few smiles. Chitram Seenu was apt. The others did their bit as required.

Plus points:

    * Charmy
    * Background score
    * Technical values
    * First half
    * Scary scenes

Minus points:

    * Second half
    * Stale ending
    * Dragged scenes
    * Weak screenplay
    * songs

Analysis:

It takes a lot of nerve to deal with genres of horror and thriller and those with conviction and clarity can get that impact. Something like that was very much possible in this film and though the start takes off smoothly and delivers the right impact on the viewer, it is from the second half onwards that things begin to spiral down. The good side of this is nice technical values and some unforgettable shock points but if only the content was focused during the second half, the film would have been a sure shot hit. For now, it might just pass off and recover its investments.

Verdict : Shocking start but stale end…
