Penelope Cruz is a global sweetheart, and the sultry star has managed to steal hearts with the recently-released To Rome With Love. This is her second film with veteran film personality Woody Allen who directed her in Vicky Christina Barcelona, which won her an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress. The Spanish beauty talks about motherhood, Bollywood, her latest movie and more.

How do you handle motherhood and babies?
Becoming a mother changed everything for me. It's hard to explain because it's so deep. But it's the most beautiful feeling I have ever had. As a woman it is the most wonderful thing that can happen to you because it alters the way you see the world. It is such a fascinating and beautiful process. In order to handle it I'll make one movie a year, maybe two, but it's not going to be more than that because I have other priorities now.

How does it feel like to be pregnant again?I am feeling very great! It is like revolutionary experience to me again! That's the best way I can describe it. It transforms you completely and in a second. Nature is very wise and gives you nine months to prepare, but in that moment, when you see that face, you are transformed forever.

Talk about your role in the movie To Rome With LoveMy role in the movie is that of a hooker, who makes prostitution seem like a desirable career. She is very professional, she looks at this job with dignity, and she wants to be the best at it. She is convinced she is helping people, and is really necessary for society.

What was it like to work with Woody Allen again? I feel extremely lucky to be able to be back starring in another Woody Allen film. I've been a fan of his work since I was a little girl. I was very happy first of all to meet him, to be able to spend time with him. He makes me laugh all day long, so I feel like the luckiest girl, you know? I can spend time with him, and I also get to be directed by him, and he trusts me enough to give me his beautiful characters. The only thing is it's always too short, because both times I worked with him I did it in three weeks. So I always want more.

Any scenes from the movie that are your favourite? Can you share some moments from the time it was being shot?
It's the same thing in To Rome With Love - he doesn't speak Italian. I translated my lines. So he still doesn't know what I am saying! That was really funny and one of the memorable moments I had with this movie. Well, there’s no particular favourite scene.

Which is your favourite Woody Allen movie?I have been a fan of Woody Allen's films for decades and personal favourite is Deconstructing Harry.

Have you watched any Indian movies lately? What do you think about Bollywood and India? India is an amazing country with multi-cultural heritage and traditions. I love India, it is a very special country and I have been there several times. I am a great fan of Indian cinema; Bollywood is now nowhere left behind compared to Hollywood. Directors, producers, stars are also are looking forward to work in Bollywood and I would love to work with Shah Rukh Khan. I have seen some movies of Shekhar Kapur.
