With five Indian women waiting to strut on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival this year, the only male from Bollywood to hit the festival will be Saif Ali Khan. Although he has never been to a similar event, the actor said he was looking forward to meeting his Hollywood counterparts. But at the conference announcing his presence at Cannes for Chivas regal, all talk turned to what he would wear to the French film festival. Khan has said he will be dressed in a black Tom Ford jacket.
Considering it as a black tie event, he decided not to pick and Indian designer for the Cannes Film Festival 2011. But we must tell you that Saif's favourite Indian designer is Raghuvindar Rathore. He also added saying, "YSL, Gucci and Tom Ford", were his favourite international designers.
The Bollywood star, who was dressed in a lilac shirt from Tom Ford and a pair of bespoke shoes from Matheran (as he liked to call them) also made known his excitement for film festival in Cannes. "I am excited about attending the Cannes film festival, but I wish to showcase one of my films at the fest some day," he said.
