Ram Gopal Varma's Rakht Charitra publicity campaign has irked Southern star Suriya. The posters of Rakht Charitra 2 had a tagline comparing the actor to Rajinikanth and Aamir Khan. Suriya is playing the lead in Rakht Charitra 2. He is also debuting in Bollywood with this hard-hitting film. With Ram Gopal Varma's move, Suriya got the shock of his life. To make the film reach the audience, RGV apparently got his team to put up hoardings that have Suriya's picture, the name of the film - Rakht Charitra 2 with a tagline, 'After Robot The Rajini, Its Suriya The Ghajini'. After this, RGV received negative feedback on it saying it was unfair to compare Suriya with Rajnikanth or Aamir Khan. Suriya was unhappy over the developments and also asked RGV to remove the tagline, as he was not comfortable being compared to these actors.With this RGV decided to change all the posters. Our source says, "Ramu wanted to launch Suriya in a major way. So, he got his marketing team put up huge hoardings of Suriya all over the city, with a tagline that read 'After Robot The Rajini, Its Suriya The Ghajini'. It was decided that the publicity campaign will not have this tagline anymore. The changes have been incorporated."
