Sonia Gandhi: Only Woman in Top 10 Most Powerful

Forbes released the list of World’s Most Powerful People which included 68 people "who matter" and the top 10 included none other than India’s ruling Congress chief, Sonia Gandhi.
Sonia ranked ninth on the list beating founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates who came in at the No.10 spot. She might not be India’s Prime Minister but she's still a major part of every decision taken by the Government! Naturally, she matters!

The other Indians who made it to the list were Prime Minister Manmohan Singh (at No.18), Ratan Tata, Mukesh Ambani and Lakshmi Mittal.

China’s President, Hu Jintao topped the 2010 Forbes list followed by US President, Barack Obama in the second place.
