For filmmakers it is always a small thing to make fun of the audience with their over creative publicity stunts to drag them to theatres. But, these days it has become very tough for them, to come up with a hype that stands up to expectations. While Dil Raju is confused to encash the success of 'Brindavanam', Kalyan Ram is tumbling to promote his 'Kathi' with some 'comedy'. 'Platinum Disc Function' is a big comedy these days, which fools the viewers to believe that the Audio is a real big success. 'Kalyanram Kathi' is going to celebrate its platinum disc function today and 'Brindavanam' tomorrow. Industry folks are worried whether the audio company really sold out lakhs of discs to celebrate the event. Though theme music from Brindavanam and a song from Kalyan Ram Kathi are at 7 and 8 positions respectively in the chartbusters, they are not doing well as an album. A close source from the Audio Company that released both these albums stated that the selling reports of these films were not at all received by them and they are doing the functions on producers insistence to promote films. The reason behind this is said to be that Dil Raju wants to make more money to clear all his debts and Kalyan Ram want to create much hype for his production venture as he cannot make any mark as a hero so far.
