Recipe: Dhaba-Style Chicken Curry Recipe, Dhaba-Style Chicken Curry, Highway On My Plate, Ignis Kitchen and Bar

Recipe: Dhaba-Style Chicken Curry
 
Ingredients:
Whole chicken - 1 no. (cut into pieces)
Tomato puree - ½ cup
Brown onion paste - 1cup (1 onion fried, 1 tbsp curd, 1 tbsp cashew paste)
Whole spices - loung, dal chini, tej patta, choti elaichi - 3 gm each
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
Salt - to taste
Dhania powder - 1 tsp
Degi mirch powder - 2 tsp
Jeera powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala powder - ½ tsp
Oil - 50 ml
Boiled eggs – 2 nos. (fried whole)

Method:
Heat oil in a deep and heavy cooking pan
Add the whole spices, when they crackle, add ginger garlic paste and stir.
Add the cut Chicken to this, stir for 2 minutes, add tomato puree, add the powdered spices and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add salt.
Add onion paste and 1 cup water and cook till the chicken is done.
Serve garnished with coriander leaves and fried eggs.
