Prabhas's Rebel looks promising enough to live up to expectations. As per Raghava Lawrence this film is a perfect one for Prabhas who has been staying away from mass films in the recent past. After Chatrapathi none of Prabhas's films pleased the masses. He has a very strong fan base in B and C centers.
Due to a string of failures Prabhas distanced himself from the mass masala stuff and stuck with family dramas. Although Darling and Mr. Perfect earned him new fans in the urban circuit, Prabhas's core fan base has been left asking for more. The onus is on Rebel and fans want every factor to be in favor of it.
However, one factor has been worrying them a lot. That is one of the heroines Deeksha Seth, who has been running through a very bad patch. Except for Mirapakay, in which she played a miniscule role none of her films did well. Films like Nippu, Uu Kodatara UlikkiPadatara, Veedinthe were huge disasters. Media is already calling her as the new iron leg lady of Tollywood. Can she break the jinx like Shruti did for Gabbar or will the fans fears turn true. Hope former comes true.
