No, this isn't another variant of the bad boy from Mercedes, the SLS AMG is officially dead. All hail the new SLS AMG GT
It’s not just a more hardcore, faster and better version of the SLS AMG, the GT is the new SLS AMG. And somehow, the GT acronym makes it sounds better as well. So how does the new car to justice to its newly acquired acronym? For starters, it’s got more horses now, 583 PS to be exact, a re-calibrated AMG Speedshift DCT 7-speed sports transmission and the redeveloped AMG Adaptive Suspension. 3.6 seconds is how much time the car takes to get to a 100 km/h and goes on to hit an electronically limited top speed of 315 km/h.
On the outside, the new SLS AMG GT is distinguished by darkened headlamp and tail light lenses a unique wheel color and red-painted brake calipers. The wing-shaped cross fins and the star recess in the radiator grille are given a new high-gloss black finish, as do the exterior mirrors and the fins on the hood and front fenders. The AMG logo on the right of the trunk lid also features the additional letters "GT" to clearly identify this new model.

The interior of the SLS AMG GT features a distinctively sporty design: combining the high-quality, exclusive ambience of a true AMG model with the emotional atmosphere of a racing car. The sports seats covered in designer leather, feature center sections finished in Alcantara® and are accented with an embossed AMG crest on the head restraint. Complimenting the styling design of the seats, Alcantara is also found as an accent on the door panels. These premium materials are combined with red seat belts, red trimmed floor mats and red contrast stitching throughout the interior on the sports seats, center console, dashboard, and door panels. A perfect combination of sporty and luxury.
The SLS AMG brought back the gullwing charm back to the modern era; the GT will make sure its carries it further.
