skin Care on the Move

Shuttling between different time zones, exposure to the sun and pollution can wreak havoc with your skin while you are travelling. All you need are some basic products to keep your complexion glowing.

Fight the sun
Whether it’s sub-zero temperature or tropical weather, it always makes sense to pack your sun block. As you age, your skin’s ability to produce natural secretions that act as a barrier to the sun’s harmful rays, diminishes gradually.

It doesn’t matter if you are wearing a bikini or a pullover, apply a sunscreen lotion before you step out. This magic potion prevents the ultraviolet rays from penetrating your skin.

Crème-de-la-crème

The air is constantly absorbing the moisture from your dermis. Moisturise your complexion after a cleansing and toning ritual. The lotion forms a fine, protective layer that enables the skin to retain its moisture.
Get lippy
Chapped lips can mar the nicest holiday and ann’t make a good impression before an important meeting. A non-scented, semi-wax balm is the best option. If you forget to carry your lip balm, then a petroleum jelly too can do the trick.
Squeaky cleanWith the various products you’ve been slathering on all day combined with the particles of dust, pollen and other airborne material - you’ve got quite a lot of muck on your skin. Wiping your face and neck with a bit of cotton wool soaked in a gentle cleanser will leave you feeling refreshed and squeaky clean.

Tone up

Stress, dryness or humidity expand skin pores, leaving them wide open to attract bacteria and other organisms that cause acne and breakouts.A toner closes the pores and only enhances that rejuvenating feeling you get after using the cleanser.
Baby oil
A dash of baby oil is all you need to lift your spirits. Add a drop to your bath tub or slather it on after a shower. The oil soothes your skin and calms your senses. After all, who doesn’t like to be pampered after a long, hard day?

Good night

You’ve probably spent a better part of your day squinting at menus and tourist attractions on a sightseeing trip. What better way to get a good night’s rest than with some cream that works wonders on your skin? A night cream stimulates cellular growth, moisturises, prevents sagging and wrinkling and increases the skin’s radiance and clarity. If all this sounds too much to handle, remember that you can always carry only a small bottle of each.
Enjoy your trip and come back looking like a million bucks!
