A spokeswoman says Elizabeth Taylor's doctors continue to be encouraged by her progress as she remains hospitalized in Los Angeles.
Publicist Jamie Cadwell says the 78-year-old actress will stay in the hospital for now so doctors can continue to observe her.
Caldwell said Wednesday that the Oscar-winning actress is in good spirits and continues to feel stronger every day.
Taylor has been hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center since early this month.
She is being treated for symptoms of congestive heart failure, a condition she disclosed in November 2004.
