After the super success of MEL KARADE RABBA, the jodi of Jimmy Shergill and director Navaniat Singh is all set with their next venture, DHARTI. Jimmy Sheirgill will don the producer's hat for the first time with this film. Reveals Navaniat Singh, 'Our last film was a huge hit. In many single screens of Punjab we broke the record of GADAR. Jimmy has become the Shahrukh Khan of Punjab. Now we are teaming up again for DHARTI. The film is a political drama and is produced by Best Film Corporations in association with Jimmy Sheirgill. It's Jimmy's first production and he's playing a Squadron Leader in it.' Talking about the star cast of the film, Navaniat said, 'Apart from Jimmy the film will have Surveen Chawla, Ranvijay, Rahul Dev and Prem Chopra. Premji is doing a Punjabi film after more than 25 years.' Speaking about the status of the film, Navaniat said, 'The film is currently under post production and will release on 22nd April.'
