Ingredients:
400g of carrots cut and steamed
3/4th cup of melted jiggery
2 cardamom pods
2 tsp pistachios
3/4th cup of cashews
Method:
1. Grate the carrots.
2. In a mortar and pestle, pound the pistachios and cardamom pods
3. Did You Know: This recipe is oil free
4. Powder the cashews
5. Add the melted jaggery to the carrots. Mix well.
6. To the mixture, add the powdered cashews. Add the cashew powder in intervals.
7. Add the pounded pistachios and cardamom. You can use other nut such as almonds, raisins, walnuts as well. Mix well.
8. Ready to serve
