LG Making a Full 3D Smartphone Complete With a Built In 3D Camera

LG's Making a Full 3D Smartphone—Complete With a Built-In 3D CameraLG will soon show off its newest device: The Optimus 3D. It's a smartphone with a nice assortment of connectivity options such as HDMI and DLNA, a glasses-free 3D display, and a built-in dual-lens 3D camera. What the hell, LG?
Either this device will be all sorts of awesome—a built-in 3D camera does sound fun—or it will be the worst horror unleashed onto the tech world in recent memory.
I can't wait to see it.

Dell Streak 7 Review

Coming to T-Mobile as their first 4G tablet, Dell is set to launch its foray into the 7’ tablet market with the Dell Streak 7. Packed with NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 dual core processor and a 7-inch 800×480 Gorilla Glass touch screen. Is it poised to take on the Tab? Check out the full review.

Hardware / Design

The hardware design for the Streak 7 is vastly improved from the Streak 5. I was one of Dell’s harshest critics of the Streak 5 as the back battery panel came to easily detached from the device.
Like the Tab the back of the Streak 7 is a solid non-removable panel. The back also contains a small diamond texture design similar to the texture feel Dell has been putting on more of their consumer notebooks.

One of the things that stands out the most with the design of the hardware is that it appears to be designed with landscape mode in mind as the major way the product will be used.   From the camera positions, to the power and volume buttons and most noticeably the orientation of the side buttons.

The design of the Streak 7 is much like the design of the Streak 5 where the sides of the device, if you are holding it landscape, have a slight curve. On the top of the device there are only two buttons, off and one and volume up and down. The Home, Menu and Back buttons are on the front. One thing that is noticeable is the absence of the search button so commonly found on other Android hardware. This could mean Dell intends to make the move to Honeycomb quickly where search is integrated more into the core operating system, or it could just frustrate users.
There are two speakers on the Streak 7 on both ends of the device, which gives it a true stereo experience with applications that use audio. In comparison the Tab has two speakers but they are both at the bottom of the device.
The tablet itself is 7.9 x 4.7 x 0.5 and weighs 1lb compared to the Tab which is 7.5 x 4.7 x 0.5 inches and 13.4 ounces.  In this side by side comparison you can see the Streak 7 is slightly longer.

Software and Performance

The Streak 7 comes loaded Android version 2.2. The only additional software Dell has pre-loaded on to the device is their own Dell Stage widgets which consist of a contacts, email, gallery, home, music, social and web widgets.
I did find the Streak 7 to be a bit more snappy than the Tab. Going in and out of applications, browsing apps from the menu and even browsing the web. Overall I found the speed performance to be better than the Tab.
Further from a performance standpoint the Streak scored a 1918 on Quadrant where the Tab scored a 980.
Even though Tegra 2 is a dual core processor, Android version 2.2 is multi-threaded however there is room for improvement.  Along those lines not all applications are multi-threaded as well. So the full power of the Streak 7 and the Tegra will not be unleashed until either Gingerbread or Honeycomb are made available on the Streak 7.

4G

The Streak 7 is T-Mobile’s first 4G tablet.   In many areas of the Bay Area where I live I got strong 4G signals and tested speeds in the 2.5 to 3.5 mb range of download speed. In full 4G areas web pages loaded quickly and more importantly when I was out and about using things like maps or other location based services applications.

Camera and Multimedia

Since NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 processor is capable of 1080p capture I was excited to test the video capabilities for both playback and capture. For 1080p video playback the Streak 7 performed admirably. The video played back flawlessly without skipping and with smooth frames. Capture however was a different story all together as 720P was the highest resolution option capable to capture video.
Graphics and games looked incredibly fantastic.   I expected this as Tegra 2 coming from NVIDIA with their deep graphics expertise.   I was able to play a few pre-release Tegra optimized games that NVIDIA provided me.   One was a Tegra optimized version of Dungeon Defenders and the other was Galaxy On Fire 2.   Games in particular shined on the Streak 7 and when it came to fluid and rich graphical gameplay it was much better than the Tab.

Battery

The battery life on the Streak 7 has to be my biggest complaint. Over the weekend I took it with me on a day trip to Berkeley and after a full nights charge it was dead by 5 PM. The next day faired a little better but just barely made it through a day.
The culprit is the Streak 7 only has a 2780 mAh battery while the Tab has a 4000 mAh battery. The bottom line is expect more frequent charging if you plan on heavy usage.

Wrap up

Having used the Tab for over a month and now after using the Streak for five days, the performance advantages of the Streak 7 give it the edge in my opinion.   The Streak 7 will perform and in some cases outperform other tablets in the 7′ inch range with its capabilities as a rich multimedia device largely thanks to NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 super chip.
The battery life is my biggest complaint with the Streak 7 and in terms of battery life the Tab is a better option.
I want to see how the Streak 7 performs when either Gingerbread or Honeycomb become available as an update.   From things like multi-threaded support, more tablet centric OS and speed / performance gains all things that will add value to not only tablets in general but the Streak 7 as well.

LG confirms Optimus 3D for MWC 2011 glasses free screen and 3D camera

We've had a feeling that LG was going to tackle 3D smartphones heads-on sometime in February, and after a spat of rumors today purported to be showing off the Optimus 3D (pictured above, via Phandroid), the company's flat-out confirmed its Mobile World Congress debut. The Optimus 3D sports a dual-lens 3D camera, a glasses-free LCD display, and HDMI / DLNA for sharing on whatever 3D sets you have. A live demo will be at Barcelona, but whether that means we'll get to hold it in our own hands. Other specs? We'll have to wait and find out. Press release after the break.

The Best Apps for News Junkies,FLUD,NYT,Flipboard,Android,BuzzBox,NubiNews,Fox News,NPR News

The Best Apps for News JunkiesA news addiction is one of the few dependencies that it's actually good to indulge. And to a news junkie, a smartphone is like a wide-bore hypodermic needle.

iOS

Reeder
The Best Apps for News JunkiesThose of you who are already on the RSS bandwagon, it's time to try Reeder. It's simply the prettiest and best-syncing Google Reader-based RSS app available for the iPhone. Those of you who haven't yet tried RSS, or ran out of patience for it, trust me: spend a few minutes gathering your favorite news sources into Google Reader, download Reeder, and watch the news pour into your phone. It's great. A a bonus, the text and image formatting in Reeder is much better than most mobile sites and even dedicated news apps, so it's sort of like a catch-all mobile interface for everything you read online. Plus, hey, no more BIAS JOURN-O-LIZM, because you choose the sources! $3, iPhone.
CNN
The Best Apps for News JunkiesI usually shy away from single-source news apps, but I make an exception for CNN's. Its video content is nice, but where it really succeeds is in fast, simple news delivery. It's probably the quickest way to get a handle on what's going on in the world (on your phone), with an intelligently laid-out interface, smart story selection and super-fast updates. It'll also send you push updates as soon as news breaks. Some are dumb; most aren't. Either way, this a is useful weapon in a know-it-all news hound's arsenal. Free, iPhone.
NPR News
The Best Apps for News JunkiesNPR's news app easily does the work of two. As a text and image pusher, it provides a decent news digest—assuming you don't abhor its (mild!) politics. It'll run neck and neck with apps like NYT and AP in terms of straightforward news delivery. But this is an NPR app, and you probably won't download this to read more. You want to listen. And you can! Forever, to everything, always. It's amazing. You can listen to pretty much any NPR station you want from anywhere in the country. OR you can stream the shows on demand, and build playlists of your favorite shows. However, as with any sedative, mixing must be undertaken with extreme caution. DO YOUR RESEARCH. Free, iPhone
OTHERS TESTED:
FLUD: An app that takes the "RSS" out of "RSS." I found it very pretty, but abandoned it quickly.
NYT: A hefty chunk of the Times, squashed into a simple and readable little app. You weren't going to read the rest, anyway.
Flipboard: A beautiful app that formats various sources, including feeds, into a sort of digital paper. It's a nice way to consume news, to be sure, but it's only available on the iPad.

Android

Pulse
The Best Apps for News Junkies
Pulse takes a bunch of news sources and transforms them into a pretty gorgeous collection of tiles. It's best to use when you're scanning a limited number of feeds (it maxes out at 20 anyway) because the interface is so graphic heavy, handling anything more than 10 can get a little complicated. The idea is less RSS reader and more Newsy and there's a bunch of great sources to pick from (ahem, Gizmodo). It's a pretty great app to have when to casually scanning news, plus news hasn't ever looked this good. Free, Android.
USA Today
The Best Apps for News Junkies
A great app to find the latest headlines, sports scores and weather reports because everything is laid out right smack in front of you. It's well designed too, news isn't buried and the layout makes sense. USA Today's app is much like USA Today itself, all the relevant news whittled down and easy to understand. If you're looking for basic news and just staying current with the world, this is where you start. Not to mention, it's got some pretty sweet photos in the "day in pictures" section to comb through. Free, Android.
Google Reader
The Best Apps for News Junkies
Finally! After years of only having a web app (that's admittedly decent!), Google just released a full fledged app for Google Reader. If you're familiar with using Google Reader, it's exactly what you expect, only translated for the smaller screen. It doesn't have the style and pizazz of some other RSS apps but it's everything you need to get the news from your feeds (it supports multiple accounts too) and wonderful for any Google Reader user. One super cool feature: using the volume keys to navigate through feeds. Free, Android
OTHERS TESTED:
BuzzBox: Has a similar idea to Pulse but it's not as pretty. Can juggle more feeds at once since there's more text than images.
NY Times: It's actually one of my favorite apps to use but only because of the content, not the app itself. I'd like a much more upfront app instead of things buried in menus (they could also add the offline feature that's in the iPhone)
NubiNews: It's useful in reading news super quickly but it's terribly ugly and feels like it was made for BlackBerry
SkyGrid: A pretty neat way to keep up with the topics YOU care about by giving you notifications and alerts
Fox News: Fair and balanced news for the conservatives in a pretty basic layout
NPR News: Now what's better than listening to the soothing NPR? Getting your listening fix, creating playlists and even reading news (!) to stay opinionated, that's what.

What Honeycomb Means for Tablets

In advance of Google’s Honeycomb deep dive scheduled for this Wednesday February 2, I wanted to do a quick analysis of what Honeycomb means for the tablet market. I’ve been working with a number of the current Android tablets in the 7-inch range and have reached several conclusions about the form factor which I will provide more insight to in a later analysis.

One conclusion, however, that may seem completely obvious but which, from a software standpoint, has not historically been obvious for makers of hardware, is that some form-factors require software created specifically for that form-factor.
This was, to a degree, the observation made by Jeff Hawkins when he started Palm and brought to market the first Palm Pilot. Many of the products competing for handheld computers at the time were mini clamshell devices running either Windows CE or some proprietary OS.
Many of these devices were attempting to be very small versions of their notebook counterparts. Jeff Hawkins’ vision was that computing could take place in the palm of your hand and a new form factor as well as a new operating system was necessary to make that vision a reality.
The same is true in the tablet / touch computing market. These devices are not phones, nor are they clamshell PCs with a physical keyboard and mouse. Smartphone apps are built to work on a small screen. Clamshell notebooks and desktop software were made to work with a mouse and keyboard. This is why, for the tablet market to succeed, it will depend on an operating system and suite of applications that are purpose-built for a larger screen touch computer.
Honeycomb is Android built for tablets from the ground up. Not just the OS but the apps represent optimized versions for the larger touch screen. I pointed this out when the iPad first launched and I’ll point it out again for Android app developers. Apps need to be re-created not re-purposed for Honeycomb. For the Honeycomb software ecosystem to be successful it will require software that is not just optimized but specifically created for larger touch screens. More simply put, develop apps like it was your first app and the 10-inch screen is the only screen.
Nearly every major consumer products vendor I speak with on a regular basis wants a piece of the tablet market. They have very high hopes and to some degree are betting heavily on Android and in this case Honeycomb. We will see if Honeycomb delivers when we get to actually use a functioning version of the OS on Wednesday.
Honeycomb represents a real opportunity for vendors to compete in this space with the 800lb gorilla that is Apple. If Honeycomb does not deliver it could set vendors back again another six to eight months. All will be revealed on Wednesday and we will be there to report it. Check back on Wednesday for my first impressions and analysis of Honeycomb.

HTC Thunderbolt might be getting simultaneous voice and data on 3G after all

We won't lie: we've been pretty skeptical of the rumors so far that the HTC Thunderbolt would have support for simultaneous voice and data over EV-DO -- SVDO, as it's known -- turned on. Perhaps more than any other US carrier, Verizon has a reputation for testing the living daylights out of devices and locking out hardware that doesn't meet its reliability standards, and so we were a little leery of some supposedly leaked internal communication not long ago letting reps know that although it'll be enabled, it shouldn't be discussed because it doesn't offer an "experience... consistent with [their] brand." Well, we've just been fed a second document that features the same wording, so it looks like this might be real after all -- and what's more, it's got updated verbiage stating that mobile hotspot capability will be available at launch, contrary to other leaks floating around today. This particular document is dated today, so we're feeling good that the information is current -- and if anything, it should get potential Thunderbolt buyers more excited than ever.

Sandy Bridge processors,Intel design error scuppers Sandy Bridge chipset recalls ahead

Intel has announced a “chipset design error” affecting its 6 Series Cougar Point chipsets, found accompanying Sandy Bridge processors, which could see an ongoing degradation of the SATA ports and an ensuring impact on HDD and optical drive performance. The solution, unfortunately for Intel, is a silicon fix that will require newly manufactured versions of the chip that should begin arriving with customers in late February.

Full volume recovery, meanwhile, isn’t expected until April, though since Core i5 and quad-core Core i7 systems using the 6 Series chipset have only been on sale since January 9 2011, Intel says it expects “relatively few customers” to be affected. Still, they’ll be alerted to the issue and offered support in getting their systems fixed with the updated version, while Intel works with OEMs to address manufactured motherboards.
The Sandy Bridge CPUs themselves are unaffected, and Intel says owners can continue to use their PCs without concern and simply wait to hear what exactly they need to do for a long term fix. Intel expects the whole chipset issue to cost $300m to their Q1 2011 revenue.
Press Release:
Intel Identifies Chipset Design Error, Implementing Solution
Updates Outlook to Incorporate Effects of Error, Infineon Acquisition and Expected McAfee Acquisition
Chipset circuit design issue identified, fix implemented, customers being notified
Infineon Technologies AG Wireless Solutions business (WLS) acquisition closed Jan. 31
McAfee, Inc. (MFE) acquisition expected to close by the end of the first quarter
Fourth-quarter, first-quarter and full-year outlook revised to reflect impact of chipset issue, WLS closure, expected MFE closure by the end of the first quarter
SANTA CLARA, Calif., Jan. 31, 2011 – As part of ongoing quality assurance, Intel Corporation has discovered a design issue in a recently released support chip, the Intel® 6 Series, code-named Cougar Point, and has implemented a silicon fix. In some cases, the Serial-ATA (SATA) ports within the chipsets may degrade over time, potentially impacting the performance or functionality of SATA-linked devices such as hard disk drives and DVD-drives. The chipset is utilized in PCs with Intel’s latest Second Generation Intel Core processors, code-named Sandy Bridge. Intel has stopped shipment of the affected support chip from its factories. Intel has corrected the design issue, and has begun manufacturing a new version of the support chip which will resolve the issue. The Sandy Bridge microprocessor is unaffected and no other products are affected by this issue.
The company expects to begin delivering the updated version of the chipset to customers in late February and expects full volume recovery in April. Intel stands behind its products and is committed to product quality. For computer makers and other Intel customers that have bought potentially affected chipsets or systems, Intel will work with its OEM partners to accept the return of the affected chipsets, and plans to support modifications or replacements needed on motherboards or systems. The systems with the affected support chips have only been shipping since January 9th and the company believes that relatively few consumers are impacted by this issue. The only systems sold to an end customer potentially impacted are Second Generation Core i5 and Core i7 quad core based systems. Intel believes that consumers can continue to use their systems with confidence, while working with their computer manufacturer for a permanent solution. For further information consumers should contact Intel at www.intel.com on the support page or contact their OEM manufacturer.
For the first quarter of 2011, Intel expects this issue to reduce revenue by approximately $300 million as the company discontinues production of the current version of the chipset and begins manufacturing the new version. Full-year revenue is not expected to be materially affected by the issue. Total cost to repair and replace affected materials and systems in the market is estimated to be $700 million. Since this issue affected some of the chipset units shipped and produced in the fourth quarter of 2010, the company will take a charge against cost of goods sold, which is expected to reduce the fourth quarter gross margin percentage by approximately 4 percentage points from the previously reported 67.5 percent. The company will also take a charge in the first quarter of 2011which will lower the previously communicated gross margin percentage by 2 percentage points and the full-year gross margin percentage by one percentage point.
Updated 2011 First Quarter and Full Year Outlook
Separately, Intel recently announced that it had completed the acquisition of the Infineon Technologies AG Wireless Solutions business, which will now operate as the Intel Mobile Communications group. The company also expects to complete the acquisition of McAfee by the end of the first quarter.
The effects of the chipset issue and these transactions are incorporated into the company’s revised outlook. The company now expects first-quarter revenue to be $11.7 billion, plus or minus $400 million, compared to the previous expectation of $11.5 billion, plus or minus $400 million. Gross margin percentage is now expected to be 61 percent, plus or minus a couple percentage points, compared to the previous expectation of 64 percent, plus or minus a couple percentage points. Spending (R&D plus MG&A) is now expected to be approximately $3.6 billion, compared to the previous expectation of approximately $3.4 billion.
The full-year revenue growth percentage is now expected to be in the mid-to high teens, compared to the company’s prior expectation of approximately 10 percent. Full-year gross margin is now expected to be 63 percent, plus or minus a few percentage points, compared to the previous expectation of 65 percent, plus or minus a few percentage points. Spending (R&D plus MG&A) is now expected to be $15.7 billion, plus or minus $200 million, compared to the company’s previous expectation of $13.9 billion, plus or minus $200 million. Research and development (R&D) spending is now expected to be approximately $8.2 billion, compared to the previous forecast of $7.3 billion.
All other expectations for the first-quarter and full-year remain unchanged. With the exception of McAfee, the outlook for the first quarter and full year do not include the effect of any acquisitions, divestitures or similar transactions that may be completed after Jan. 31. The acquisition of McAfee is subject to customary closing conditions.

Ford Focus Electric unlikely to support DC quick charging slower than the Leaf after all

Ford Focus Electric unlikely to support DC quick-charging, to be slower than the Leaf after all?
At its unveiling at CES, Ford missed no opportunity to talk up the ability of its Focus Electric to charge in half the time of the Nissan Leaf when connected to a Level 2 (220 - 240V) charger, of the sort that Best Buy will gladly install for you for just $1,499. Three to four hours is all it should take, indeed impressive compared to the eight hours the Leaf needs at the same voltage. However, the story doesn't end there, as the Leaf has another trick up its sleeve: DC fast-charging via the CHAdeMO standard. That gives 80 miles of range in just 30 minutes and, while not a global standard yet, it's certainly trying to be. The SAE is working on its own DC quick-charger standard, and that's the pony Ford is looking to back, saying:
Fast charge will not be included on the Focus Electric until an industry standard has been set by SAE. Once an approved/accepted standard is in place, we will work on getting the car ready for [it].
That leaves us with two questions. First, will the SAE will get its standard finalized before Ford gets the Focus Electric finalized? Second, will the SAE standard be compatible with the Japanese CHAdeMO standard? Sadly, our magic eight ball is not giving us much hope on either account.

Tollywood Twitter Mahesh Babu Tollywood Twitter Ram Charan can not match him Tollywood Twitter

Ram Charan can not match him

Ram Charan can't match him
Charming hero Mahesh Babu is one of senior most in Twitter and TFI. Though a lazy tomcat in responding to followers or caring the fans but he is racing like a horse in popularity increasing his number of followers to around 1.7 Lakhs in minimal time. Inspite of his tongue tied situations on various situations there is no reason why he is growing in adoration day after day.

Twitter maniacs foresighted a menace to Mahesh Babu’s top position in Tollywood Twitter with entry of Ram Charan, the only hero from Mega compound who topped the Twitter records in % of followers per day during his primitive days. When one Lakh followers for Ram Charan was thought to be a cakewalk, he functioned below the expectations, finding it hard to reach even 50,000 mark. Even though Mahesh Babu is a sluggard, it is inevitable for Ram Charan to transcend.

sex Positions for my Zodiac Sign

I
You rely on your sun sign to tell you everything - your favourite colour, gemstone, even your ideal career. But do you know your sex personality? We give you the ideal sex position for your sun sign so you can spice things up in bed.

Aries: The Hang-Glider is great for this adventurous sign that believes in sex for the sex of the thrill. Facing the man, the woman — necessarily slim and flexible — hangs reverse, her legs dangling over his shoulders and crossed behind and hands crossed behind his back. Perfect for cunnilingus.

Taurus: The Scissor Blade position is for unstoppable bulls. The man sits on the bed, legs spread. The woman sits between his legs at a 90 degree angle, so that her upper body remains between his legs. Her legs “cut” one of his from either side ie one of her legs will be placed above his and the other below.

Gemini: The Lap Dance will excite the adventurous, variety-seeking Gemini. It’s simple but remains underrated. Facing her back to the man, the woman stands/sits/lounges against him, while he rests against the couch, table, bath tub, office chair…

Cancer: Sensitive, shy and somewhat insecure Cancerians will enjoy Protect Me. The woman faces her back to her partner, and holds his upper thighs from behind, while he holds her sides and penetrates her.  A great position to enjoy stimulation and to avoid eye contact.

Leo: Dip Dip Dip is just perfect for the regal and proud lion. It requires the man to face away from a couch or sofa, place his hands on the edge from behind and well, dip dip dip. His feet are to rest on a chair right in front.  The woman will position herself between the chair and the couch, placing her hands on his shoulders.

Virgo: Face to Face is just perfect for the somewhat conservative Virgo. Both partners kneel on a bed, facing each other. It’s the “erect” version of the classic Missionary position, but promises more intimacy.

Libra: On Bended Knee is great for the romantic, sensual Libran who considers seduction nothing less than art.  Also known as the Proposal position, it requires both partners to kneel on the bed facing each other. The man puts his arms around the woman’s waist to support her, while she raises one of her legs over his opposite thigh.

Scorpio: The Superwoman pose is super for the intense, hypnotic Scorpion. The woman faces a bed and places her hands shoulder width apart on the edge. The man holds her upper thighs and penetrates from behind.

Sagittarius: The Bridged Over position is great for uninhibited and impulsive Sagis. You need to be fairly flexible for this one, gal. The woman first lies on her back, then raises her stomach followed by her shoulders, resting only on her palms. The man kneels in front of her, holding her thighs for support.

Capricorn: Instead of letting your partner take the initiative all the time, get into Rude Rider mode. It’s the classic woman on top seated position, while the man lies below her with some extra support — the man raises the woman, hands under her thighs.

Aquarius: Sit On Me is a nice position for the quirky, unconventional Aquarian. The man sits on a bed as though he’s sitting on an armchair. However, in this position, he is the armchair. The woman sits on him, exactly opposite, supports her hands on the bed and her legs on his shoulders.

Pisces: You're complex and some part of you craves S&M, mostly masochism. In the Animal, the woman lies on the bed stomach up, legs folded at the knees. The man faces his back to her before penetration, holding her thighs for support.

Sagar Ballary wanted to start his career by making a children's' film. KACCHA LIMBOO script was ready even before BHEJA FRY was conceived. He always wanted to make meaningful cinema for children and parents. KACCHA LIMBOO is a series of true stories experienced by various children including him and all has been encapsulated within the story of Shambhu who plays a lead protagonist a thirteen year old boy who was always misunderstood by his parents, friends and teachers.

Sagar states working with Atul and Sarika was a dream come true because both of them are National Award winners and a subject like this required fine sensitive actors who understood the subtlety of the subject.

'This is my second film with Sarika and I have learnt so much from her. Her vast amount of experience only helped me to understand dealing with actors better and arriving at the character of the mother with a wholesomeness which couldn't have been attained without Sarika's inputs. Atul rang the bell unexpectedly one day and walked into my office just to meet me. When I saw his shaved look minus the moustache I knew I had found Abhay Srivastav, Shambhu's father in the film. Working with Atul was again a different experience because Atul is very grounded, gathered and precise as opposed to me,' states Sagar, who keeps things a little fluid and uncertain.

The blend of his structured thinking and the subject's fluidity has resulted in something special that is KACCHA LIMBOO.

Shahrukh Khan Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal SRK I have thrown everything into RAONE

There is an old proverb, 'Do not put all your eggs in one basket', which in these times appears quite outdated because we have had several examples where courageous, ambitious and enterprising people from all walks of life have chosen to do so and have come out triumphant, battling all odds and taking immense risks! But as they say, fortune favours the brave and indeed in showbiz it takes a brave man to go against his image and do something that has never been attempted before.

As can be guessed from our headlines we are indeed talking about, Bollywood's global super star, Shahrukh Khan, who contrary to his safe as a house romantic image is now producing and working in an ambitious sci-fi SFX laden super hero film, RA.ONE. As we all know the film is being directed by techwiz Anubhav Sinha of DUS fame and is one the most lavish, hugely mounted, big star cast film, featuring Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal in never before roles. SRK being the producer admits that he has thrown everything in making RA.ONE a memorable film, for which he expects to be remembered in the years to come and also applauded for attempting something as daring and as novel.

Shah Rukh confesses that he is definitely taking a chance, a risk, as he has put in a whole lot of money, time, energy and also his creativity in RA.ONE and hopes that the risk would pay off with people accepting his new and bold step with open arms and making the film a big success.

Well, we are sure that the audience which is slowly and surely maturing would definitely give a thumbs up to RA.ONE, and seeing the way the film is shaping up we are quite sure of being on dot!
