E.U Iran Nuclear Meeting Set for Dec. 5
The European Union has agreed to meet with Iran on Dec. 5 to discuss Tehran's nuclear program.
EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton rejected Tehran's preference for a meeting in Istanbul. After discussions with the six-nation group of negotiators — the United States, Russia, China, Britain, France and Germany — Ashton has suggested meeting in Vienna or Switzerland.
The European Union said in a letter obtained by The Associated Press on Friday she wanted "a full and in-depth exchange of views concerning the Iranian nuclear program."
