Prolific filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj has worked with best of the actresses in B-town like Shabana Azmi, Tabu, Kareena Kapoor, but holds a special regard for Bollywood hottie Priyanka Chopra and calls her finest actor. After working with Priyanka in KAMINEY and now 7 KHOON MAAF, Vishal is so much impressed with her talent that he wishes to work with her again and again.
Vishal is all praise for the fabulous actor. "Priyanka ke samne uski tareef karma usko embarrass karna hoga. I think she is the finest actress in her contemporaries. She is heady mix of intelligence, beauty and hard work. And above that the kind of rapport which I have with Priyanka I don't think I have ever shared with any other actor," said Vishal at the recent press meet for 7 KHOON MAAF where Priyanka was also present.
Also, Vishal feels Priyanka is highly bankable star.
"As I have already said she is the best in her contemporaries so the doors are shut (for others). More than bankable she is one of the finest actors in her age and as a director you get immense pleasure when you're working with a good actor. I've worked with several good actors like Pankaj Kapur, Irrfan Khan, Naseer saab. And Priyanka has come under that category where I don't have to go and work on the base. Muje neev nahi khodni padegi. Ek building ke 2-4 floor bane hue hain bas usme ek tower khada karna hai. Mere kehne ki jarurat nahi padti thi jo muje chahiye tha, jo muje kehna tha Priyanka ne us chiz ko bina kahe bahkhubi se kar diya," says the filmmaker with pride.
Apart from being a fabulous actor we all know what a good singer Priyanka is. However no filmmaker has capitalised on her voice yet. But now Vishal is looking forward to make Priyanka sing in the forthcoming film. Proclaims Vishal, "Yes I have heard her. She is fantastic singer. I want to make a musical with her where she should be singing all her songs."
Indeed Priyanka is praiseworthy and we all are eagerly looking forward to her upcoming release 7 KHOON MAAF. |
